Description

Blaze is coming up to 5 years old now and he flew from Cyprus to find his forever home . He is currently in foster in Kent This is what his foster mum says about him Blaze is calm and happy to snuggle up for a cuddle 40% of the time but the other 60% of the time he is hyperactive and gets over excited which is when he can be destructive if left unattended His behaviour is very puppyish He is generally good on the lead although he does pull a little if he sees other dogs he wants to talk to Blaze is a Beagle, so very food orientated, although shows no aggression at all He absolutely adores meeting other dogs and is very friendly,Blaze is not currently in a home with children although he is very friendly and loves meeting people He doesn’t chase cats so could potentially live with a cat but woyld need supervision until 100% sure Housetraining is still a work in progress. He has had a few accidents in the house but I have tried to go back to basics with him and take him outside every few hours and tell him to”go wee wee” which he generally does He sleeps in his crate at night, which is in our bedroom, with no problem. He will sleep for a good 7 hours. He doesn’t really like to go in his crate during the day but can be persuaded if you put a frozen Kong in with him. On the rare occasions we have had to leave him, he has to go in his crate otherwise he would get up to mischief if left unattended He loves being with his humans and likes to be with us as much as possible I truly believe that he would benefit from a home with another dog who could guide him and play with him when he is getting bored.. I think he needs a home where the owner can be with him the majority of the time and preferably doesn’t work and can supervise him and give him all the attention he needs. And a large garden would be a bonus! He is a healthy boy .We have taken him to our vet who gave him a clean bill of health but was of the opinion he was no more than 2-3 years old especially considering his puppyish behaviour
