Meet our gorgeous long coat Akita boy, nearly 2 years old, who is one of the most loving and affectionate dogs you could ever hope to meet. At home he is golden – gentle, cuddly, well-behaved, and happiest when he’s right beside his people. He absolutely adores strokes, ear scratches, and all the cuddles you can give.
He’s also very, very playful and has a brilliant personality. He loves his food (a bit too much!) and will happily walk around proudly carrying his food bowl to let you know he “strongly disagrees” with mealtime being over. He also howls when you come home – his way of announcing that his favourite humans have returned.

• Food-motivated (and will protest cutely with his bowl!)
• Raised with older children and a 4/5-year-old

⚠️ Requirements & Important Info
We want to be completely honest about his needs:
• ❌ He does NOT get on with other dogs or animals.
• ❌ He does bark at unfamiliar children, so a home without young children visiting is essential.(preferably someone on their own or a couple.)
• 🏡 He must go to someone experienced with the Akita breed – this is non-negotiable.
• ⏱️ He has been raised with people who work from home and he absolutely thrives on company, so he needs someone who is home most of the time.
• 🌳 He will need a large, secure garden so he has space to play and stretch his legs safely.
Please note he will be signed over to you with his original breeders who will ask you to sign a form they are amazing and so lovely

We are looking for a responsible, experienced Akita home that understands the breed’s temperament and can give him structure, attention, and the companionship he’s used to. He truly is the sweetest, most loving boy in the right environment.
