Description

We are sadly having to re-home our almost 12 month old Greyhound x German Shepherd boy Knox due to a change in circumstances out of our control, through no fault of his own. We have had Knox since he was 4 months old and we're distraught we are having to give him up to someone else. We are still in contact with the breeder, so can answer any further questions if needed. Knox is an intelligent, funny, cheeky, loving, energetic lad who loves nothing more than playing all day. He loves playing fetch and tug of war with his toys. He is great around other dogs and has lived with a female Staffy x Sharpei whilst being with us. All he wants to do is play. Knox is very timid around people and can come off quite skittish, running off or cowering. We have socialised him, having people in our home and taking him to other people's houses - he is getting better but is still rather nervous. Once Knox is used to you, he wants nothing more than love and cuddles. He is good around kids, as we have a 4 year old but he needs to approach people in his own time rather than being crowded or forced upon. Knox wasn't house trained at all when we got him, he is learning but still has accidents when alone. He knows basic commands like sit and lay down but he can be stubborn sometimes. Ideally Knox needs someone with a lot of patience and time, who is willing to give him plenty of additional training and exercise as he is always full of energy and he loves a good run around a field. We are working on recall and he is strong on the lead when excited. We have had Knox fully vaccinated, microchipped, flea & wormed. Weighed in over 28kg at his last vet checkup in September and is expected to grow further, so he will be a big lad when fully developed. We are not giving Knox up for the money, and only want him to go to another loving family home. Feel free to message if you have any questions and we're happy for you to do do a meet and greet with Knox first to see if he suits you.
