I have 4 gorgeous 6 week old Buff Orpington Cockerels looking for new homes, happy for them to go separately or together if you have a suitable set up.
I bought 6 x week old chicks on 16/08/2025 (hatched 07/08/2025) to keep my lone week old Buff cross chick company. I absolutely love them and their personalities are wonderful, but unfortunately I can't keep them all as I keep my chickens at home, when I bought them I did make plans for any boys, but since bird flue restrictions have been put in place in their planned home (not where I am) this fell through. Hence I am having to advertise them.
The home is more important than the price.
They have been spoilt rotten and well handled from day 1. They've had the best chick food I could get, and have started to enjoy the fresh fruit and veg treat trays that my adult Chickens get at the weekend.
Buff Orpingtons are often referred to as the golden retriever of the chicken world, they are friendly, loving, and so sweet natured, they are also on the rare breed trust watch list for this year!
We have several at my work and they are genuinely wonderful in every way.
If You're going to add a cockerel to your collection, I'd definitely recommend one of these.
