Not a lump / bump / or blemish in sight - such a model!
She’s as kind as can be!! So loving and affectionate in the stable. A real joy to be around. Easy to turn out alone or in a mixed herd , equally happy to be in. Good with the farrier , good to clip, loads and travels well and is genuinely very easy to own in all ways
Ottie has been well hunted and seems to really love this job ! Certainly a looker on the hunt field!
For a heavier mare , she rides very light and athletic. She makes a beautiful shape , self sufficient in her carriage and is undoubtedly very smart!! She would go out tomorrow and do the most beautiful dressage test. Would also be rather flashy in the show ring! Snaffle mouthed and a nice leg on type. Established up and down the transitions and enjoys working in the arena. Has recently been professionally schooled
Ottie is super to hack. Regularly going out alone or in company. Currently hacking along 60 mile per hour roads without a second look. Stands to be mounted and opens and closes gates etc. she is very mannerly in open spaces and one I’d consider to be my yards reliable
Also loves to pop small fences. She’s been to arena hires recently and loved a good pop around! Wasn’t worried about fillers etc and would definitely go and do a lovely job at a riding club for someone
This mare does a bit of everything and has the upmost willingness to please you!
Ottie can sometimes put her back up slightly when you get on. This has never escalated to anything else. All she is looking for is your confidence and reassurance. She has only actually ever done this to me once and that was the first day I had her. It isn’t something that should put people off but if you’re a nervous rider then this may not be for you. There is certainly no malice nor intent there. She is a very kind and genuine little mare
