Description
PHOEBE IS 3 YEARS OLD NOT 2 YEARS OLD
This has been a very difficult decision, and one I’ve spent a long time thinking about. However, I have to put Phoebe’s happiness and wellbeing first.
I have five other Sphynx cats, and unfortunately, Phoebe has never really settled with the others. They get on her nerves, overwhelm her and, at times, bully her. My biggest boy is particularly difficult with her, and although Phoebe tolerates the others to a degree, she would be much happier as the only pet.
I’ve had Phoebe for over two years, and she has always been a nervous little cat. Having her spayed helped her become more confident, but it didn’t change how she feels about living with other cats.
When Phoebe has time to herself, her personality really shines. She runs around chatting and chirping away, is absolutely bonkers, and demands attention constantly. She is such a special little girl, and this decision genuinely breaks my heart. I simply want her to be happy, confident and relaxed in her own home.
No animal should have to feel unhappy or frightened around the other animals they live with.
Phoebe needs a home where she can be the centre of attention and truly come first.
I will be very selective about her new home. I will not consider a household with other cats or dogs, as I feel she needs to be the only pet. There must be no plans to introduce any other pets while she is with her new owner. If circumstances ever change and she needs to be rehomed again, I must be contacted and given first refusal.
I know these requirements may sound demanding, but Phoebe means the world to me, and I will not compromise on finding the right home for her.
Ideally, her new home would have a cat tree, cat wheel and, if possible, a cat climbing wall, as these are some of her favourite things.
This is not a decision I have made lightly. I just want Phoebe to have the happiest life possible, filled with love, attention and security.
