Description

Dora is a 4 month old Show Cocker Spaniel-Beagle mix - Mum is 1/2 Beagle, 1/2 Show Cocker Spaniel - Dad is a full Show Cocker Spaniel She is a confident and busy dog who would thrive in countryside home with a garden to explore, sniff and play in. She enjoys her walks and has been socialised with other dogs, cats, horses and children and loves them all! Having started her life in a city she is unfazed by lots of people, cars and all the sights and sounds. Dora settles well in and out the house with lots of pub/cafe practice under her belt. She’s an affectionate girl and loves a cuddle on the sofa when she’s sleepy. Dora is looking for a new family due to her not enjoying apartment-living and so I am looking for a more spacious setting with outside space for her. She is crate-trained and sleeps through the night, she is also house trained with accidents in the house very rare. She is working through basic obedience training with Sit, Down, Stay and Leave it in her repertoire. Using a ‘touch’ command is proving best for her recall practice. Dora had cherry eye surgery at 15 weeks old with the local specialist ophthalmology veterinary team. She has been signed off with the vets and they are happy with her outcome and progress. The surgery has a high success rate of being a permanent fix but is something to be aware of as another prolapse would need further vetinary treatment. She’s microchipped, up to date on vaccines, flea and wormers. She is looking for a loving family with the time and space to continue her training and development as she grows into a lovely family pet. Happy to answer any question and provide further information and pictures to help place her in the best home for her.
