This has been a very difficult decision, but I am looking for a loving long-term foster home (approx. 20 months) for my sweet miniature dachshund, Ebony, while I complete my last 2 years of university. Ebony is great company and provides impressive emotional support, so yes this hurts me dearly!
Due to upcoming changes in housing (landlord selling flat which I’m renting, a busy study schedule, and plans to pursue internships abroad, I want to make sure Ebony has the stability, love, and routine she truly deserves.

🌟 About Ebony
• Breed: Miniature Dachshund (silver grey, dapple)
• DOB: 10th May 2024 (currently a puppy)
• Temperament: Exceptionally friendly, playful, and affectionate with both humans and dogs
• Training: Patient, attentive, toy-obsessed (loves fetch!), knows a few tricks and learns very quickly
• Health: Fully vaccinated (including boosters), regularly flea-treated and wormed
• Traits: Very human-like, sharp, and always eager to interact
• 80% Toilet trained, she can go a definite 4 hours without needing the toilet, but times when I’ll be out for 4-5 hours I usually put her training pads down for her to use. (Completely training pad trained).

🏡 Ideal Foster Home
• Experienced with dogs (especially small breeds)
• A family or household (ideally 2+ people) or a retired couple with time and love to give
• Access to a local park for daily walks
• Based in London (so I can visit for bi-monthly check-ins and the occasional day trip)

🎁 What Ebony Comes With
To make her transition smooth, I’ll provide:
• A large food supply (30+ packs of Pedigree wet food + 5kg dry kibble)
• All her toys, bed, harnesses, and outfits
• Any other belongings she needs
I’m also happy to help with care if foster parents travel while I’m on Uni term breaks.
Also happy to take Ebony on day trips out etc, can be organised with both our schedules.
