Description

AVAILABLE-dynamic duo-little ‘Wilma’ (5-7 yrs) & ‘Crumpet’ (3-4 yrs) 6 & 8 kg of cuteness you’ll never look back, and neither hopefully will they… What are your needs people? Between us both we’ve got it covered. We are ‘Wilms’ & ‘Crumps’ & we’d like to introduce ourselves for your consideration. We were abandoned on a lonely rural track in scorching heat with no water or food. Alls we had was each other & the prospect of loosing even that in our predicament. We had an ‘owner’ who wasn’t kind -but it’s all we’d known so we were so scared & confused. On the 28th May a lovely lady spotted us & gave us food but she couldn’t take us. We hung around because we hoped we’d get fed again. She told leesa the rescuer about us & what do you know - the next minute we are on our way to the vets (RollsRoyce of tests & passed with flying colour’s) & away from those lonely fields. After overnight boarding we were on the move again - this time to what is now our desres at Leesa's mums until we are adopted. Below our statistics, medical history (you’ll get a copy of the file) and ‘must haves’. thank you for listening, Love crumpet & Wilma ♥ P.s Thank you Leesa's mum for having us Wilma, Female 8 kg- small approx’. They are happy and really they just need someone who wants them for the sake of letting them continue together in happiness - to look after them, smile at their antics, someone just like me- not a home who is looking for more than they are & can be. They give so much joy just watching them and that in itself is a return. They are no trouble. They are less maintenance than a tortoise. Both have been castrated at the end of July, they travelled together to the vets. When Wilms went in the van first & couldn’t see crumps she was so distressed and let out a noise I’d never heard before. Only when their crates touched and they could see each other and touch noses were they ok. Wilma wagged her tail when she saw me after the operation & it was heart rendering. She knows and trusts me & wanted her familiar. Wilma was unsettled after the castration & it took a while for her to bounce back. The small hernia she has is too old to be operated on & causes no issues. Crumpet comes closer, hang outs & greets in her very obvious & individual way. Wilma tries to play with me with her paws and now I can be more hands on and do kisses (almost) without her feeling swamped or nervous. She never stops wagging her tail. She does very cute & endearing things- suddenly sticking her little legs out straight when you scratch her rump during tummy rubs & presenting herself & collapsing wherever you are knowing it will win more attention. Crumps has an adorable routine of a single spin just before breakfast is placed down & just after they’ve both had a little of it out of my hand. Crumpet poor girl had a sneeze from arrival (suspected allergy as an agricultural area) followed by a gulp which was the swallowing of fluids from the rather violent sneezing. We tried meds’ for this and anti-inflammatory tablets after her castration though it didn’t resolve it. I was advised to take her for a scan though I felt sure a more simple investigation might locate the issue. After taking her back when it was safe to sedate her again (at my insistence to avoid her travelling 10hrs for an MRI) several grass seeds were discovered lodged deep in her ear & had been there a while. Don’t anybody tell me these dogs are alright homeless. She’s playing so much since and clearly feels better. I’ve managed to capture all the above update and hope you enjoy showcase no:2. How would their ‘Wanted’ poster read? WANTED A kind soul to look after a small dog that comes in the form of two. One gives double the return & loves to be fussed. The other provides plenty of laughs as she disappears under the nearest shrubbery. While taking one for a walk the other will happily stay in the garden. They aren’t to be parted but they just need a warm heart, someone who is fulfilled enough to provide care & simply allow them to be happy in their environment together. Cuddles from one, comedy moments from the other & absolute belly laughs when they play and gambol about together. They truly don’t need much. They honestly don’t expect much. They really don’t need walks, just a garden. You can feel rewards from just providing love & care. Please see their virtual catalogue where you can peruse more images, their original bio & showcase video One more word Transport fee (listed-where applicable & nothing more to pay) & home check applies.
