⛵️ Meet Sail ⛵️
🏡 Sail is being fostered in the West Midlands.
💙 He is a 2 year old male mixed breed. He is small at just under 10kg.
💙 Sail is a scared but curious boy. He loves fusses and cuddles but is still learning to trust people.
💙 He is fine with children but they need to understand he is still a bit nervous. He is currently being fostered with 5 year olds and teenagers.
💙 We haven't cat tested him but the rescue said he likes to play with cats.
💙 He seems fine with other dogs. We have seen some dogs on walks and he greets them nicely but with caution, and he's met a family cockerpoo and got on great.
💙 His toilet training is going amazingly! He has been left for several hours in the day and seems to cope fine.
💙 He does have a little cry at bedtime but after we come down and show him we're still there, he settles for the night.
💙 We have started teaching him 'sit' and he picked it up very quickly. He seems very selective with treats so we have had to find some tempting enough to train him with.
💙 He does jump up when he's excited to see you but he's so light and gentle you can hardly feel it.
💙 He currently goes on 2 walks a day. His lead walking seems good. He zig zags but doesnt pull.
💙 Sail needs someone with time and patience to help continue to build his confidence. He is going to be a little velcro bestie, and he will love his people with all his heart. He deserves a home with lots of love and meaty treats to give 🐶🐾

Sail is microchipped, neutered, fully vaccinated and vetted prior to travel to the UK, 4dx tested, IFAT tested, up to date with flea and worm treatment, and has an EU Passport.
Home requirements:

🐕 Other dogs in the house must be neutered
📣 You must keep in touch with the charity so they can see how well he's doing
