We are making a very sad decision to rehome Merry our lovely tort. Merry is: - a leopard tortoise - about 6/7 years old - male we believe (our vet said most likely male) We would be willing to travel a couple of hours to meet a new keeper. It’s really important to us that he goes to a home that is going to care for him. He has a lot of character and is very lively. It is important to note that he has absolutely no pyramiding at all, a beautiful shell and he has been incredibly well cared for. Due to his well-kept shell our vet has expressed an interest in him and he is in a study. It would be nice if his new owners would be happy to keep in touch with our vet (a reptile specialist) for this research study but I’m sure it wouldn’t be a problem if not.
