With a heavy heart we are having to rehome our American Akita “bear”.
He is a happy aloof doggo and spends 90% of his time in the house asleep as you can see in the pictures,
Bear is a healthy dog recently been checked over by a vet who confirmed he is happy healthy and well,
Unfortunately bear has a nipping problem and understandably with his size a nip leaves marks and has recently drawn blood I have exhausted my knowledge in training and unfortunately I don’t have the money or time to give him what he needs to nip this in the bud (forgive the pun)
Bear would suit a child free home or maybe dog savvy teenagers due to the problem mentioned, he would also suit a home where he would not be left for too long if you know the Akita breed you will understand they are guardian breed and are happiest with their family please if you think you could provide bear with the time knowledge and training he needs get in touch! I love him to bits and I’m absolutely gutted I can’t do more to keep him with us price to secure bear a good home
