Puppies are registered endorsed with The Kennel Club with the “R” and “X” endorsement as we only want them to go to pet homes and not breeders.
This is Willow’s second litter, and she is the most loving mum and our beloved pet with a calm and caring temperament. Willow does not walk but trots around. Willow adores small people and is not reactive or barky to other dogs.
She Weighs 4.6kg and is KC registered as a Chocolate and Tan Long-Haired Miniature. She carries an impressive pedigree boasting 15 champions within her lines.
She has been extensively health tested for the following:
● Cord1-PRA (cone-rod dystrophy 1)
● Progressive Retinal Atrophy (crd-PRA)
● Neuronal ceroid Lipofuscinosis (NCL)
● Brittle bone Disease (Osteogenesis Imperfecta)
● Merle (Dapple) Gene m/m
The Puppies’ dad Xalbador is a fluffy Chocolate and Tan Dapple, and we spent a lot of time finding him to ensure that he was the correct size (smaller than mum) and of a similar amazing temperament and pedigree. Xalbador also has a chilled-out approach to life and boasts an impressive full champion pedigree. He was imported from Littl Fut Kennels (one of the world’s best long-haired Dachshund breeders with award winning pedigree across the globe). He Weighs 4kg and Xalbador has been health tested for Cord1-PRA (cone-rod dystrophy 1)
Puppies are being raised in a safe and loving home environment with round the clock care and attention. We are consciously making sure that they are socialised where possible and at the correct time in their growth they will be attending puppy yoga sessions to assist with this essential stage of their life and before leaving for the forever home. Mum is being fed on a healthy, vitamin-rich diet, recommended by our vets, and we will also be adopting a healthy diet when the puppies are weaned and progress on to their own food. We use Easy Peasy Puppy Squeezy as a great reference to help us raise them properly.
Puppies will be wormed and vaccinated in time for when they are ready to leave – which will be no earlier than 8 weeks. None of our puppies will be kept in kennels and we pride ourselves on the safe, comfortable crate environment we adopt. We will be undertaking the necessary visits to the vet and the puppies will also come with the following:
• Kennel club registration
• 1st vaccination (and voucher for second free vaccination)
• Microchipped
• Free 5 week insurance
• Full health check-up by a veterinarian vet
• Worming paperwork and ongoing instructions.
• Step-by-step guide to your first few days as a dachshund puppy owner
• A hand-curated puppy pack
Viewings are welcome at our home from 4 weeks old and there will be a £250 non-refundable deposit taken on selection of your new puppy.
We pride ourselves in supporting “The Red Dachshund Foundation UK” with a donation from every litter being given to support their amazing work. Our philosophy is one of giving back as well as providing loving and healthy animals.
