Bristlenose Plecos
Plecos will grow to around 11-14cm in length and are wonderful for keeping the tank clean (feed on the algae)
They are warm water fish. However the ones we have kept for the last 12 years in the large fish tank have managed to adapt to normal room temperature (even in the night with no heating on in the house). So no heater needed. Water changes require you to mix cold and warm water when doing a change of water
They breed in the tank if your water and conditions are right. Ours have been doing so, ever since we bought our first batch
Following sizes available
Small size Plecos under 4cm are £1.25 each or 5 for £5.00
Medium size Plecos 4-8cm are £2.50 each or 5 for £10.00
Large size Plecos over 8cm for £7.50 each or 2 for £13.00
Please let us know what sizes you need and how many in advance so that we can catch them.

Please note - Delays on collection (we give a leeway of 2-3 hrs)
If the fish are not collected in that time slot, then please note we will put the plecs back into the tank. If you still want them then there will be a £3 charge for us to catch them again. This is mostly because of no shows or having to cancel plans waiting.
We are very understanding when it comes to travelling to collect the fish. But not coming for a day without contacting us leaves us confused and stuck, and the poor fish suffer needlessly.
