Bred for health and Vitality by experienced and respected breeders - our Great Weimar puppies grow into the most magnificent dogs. All our dogs are owned by ourselves and go through a careful selection process of dna and veterinary health checks before ever being considered as suitable for breeding. Their temperament is just as important as good health and because we own our dogs, this is always known to us and we would only select parents with sound, friendly and loving temperaments. This is the best way to pass on similar behaviours in their offspring.
We also carefully select parents with as low a Coefficient of inbreeding (COI) as possible. The closer related both parents are, the higher the percentage COI which can influence the risk of genetic health issues in the offspring being passed on.
The parents of this fabulous litter, Ava and Dougal have zero % COI and are both 100% healthy and have superb natures. Ava is one of our own Great Weimars and was bred by ourselves. Dougal is a KC pedigree long hair silver Weimaraner. The pups are raised in our home and are always very well socialised for their future new families. All the pups have both pre and post natal worming. They are weaned on a premium puppy food and will be microchipped and fully vet health checked before leaving us. We have many testimonials from previous owners of our Great Weimar hybrids who extol the virtues of these being ‘the ultimate family dog’ (a quote from American breeders of Great Weimars) I can’t disagree!
