Teddy is a unique and loving Shar Pei x Staffy mix, around [3], with a big heart and a gentle soul. He’s a loyal, protective dog who bonds deeply with his person and thrives in a calm, structured environment.
Teddy can be timid, especially around new people and children. He’s not aggressive toward kids, but he doesn’t like being touched by them and would do best in a home without young children. Once he’s settled, he’s happy to coexist peacefully.
Due to past trauma and instability in our lives, Teddy needs a fresh start in a home that can offer him the consistency, patience, and understanding he deserves. He is dog-aggressive, so he must be the only pet in the home and will need an experienced owner who can manage his needs and behavior confidently. A secure garden is a must, and walks should be handled carefully.
Teddy is fully house-trained, neutered, and up to date on vaccinations. He’s very affectionate with his trusted humans and enjoys quiet companionship.
Rehoming Teddy is an incredibly difficult decision, but due to personal circumstances and changes brought on by an abusive situation, it’s the best choice for his well-being.
We’re looking for a dog-free, child-free home with an experienced, confident owner who understands nervous, reactive dogs and can give Teddy the peaceful, loving life he needs.
