Successfully raced over hurdles throughout his career but fallen out of love with it over the last year
After coming off the track he spent some time on the hills in Wales and lost a bit of condition, we believe he got a bit cold as he's gaining weight quickly now he's here in the south with us.
Tonto is a very laid back boy, super easy to do in all ways.
You really would think he's a 20yo on the ground, he is a gentle and sweet natured boy.
He is good to ride and we have taken him on lots of hacks and trips to the New Forest National Park where he has always been completely genuine. He goes in front or behind and I've always ridden him in a snaffle
He has been ridden in English & Australian tack.
I am currently riding him in a bareback pad as he has high withers and not much condition.
With a little bit more weight and some schooling this lovely lad would be a great all rounder for someone
Purchased as a project and to take hunting this side of Christmas however didn't realise he would be quite so lean when he arrived.
We go away for a month at the end of December and don't want him to drop back when turned out with my others so looking for a knowledgeable home for him to continue his education and give him the life he really deserves
