Looking for His Perfect Calm Home
This is one of the hardest posts I’ve ever had to write.
My beautiful 3-year-old white British Shorthair boy named Aspen is looking for a very special new home. He is absolutely not unwanted. This decision comes purely from love. I’m currently pregnant and can’t give him the level of time, calm, and one-to-one attention he truly thrives on.
He is incredibly affectionate and adores cuddles. He will happily curl up beside you, follow you around the house, and soak up as much attention as you’re willing to give. He’s still very playful and has such a sweet, gentle personality. He bonds closely with his person and really enjoys being someone’s little shadow.
He prefers a quiet environment. He’s slightly nervous around big gatherings and loud environments and would much rather live in a calm, peaceful home. Although he has lived with a child for the past four years, I can see that he feels more settled and relaxed in quieter moments. Because of that, I’m looking for a child-free home where he can truly feel at ease.
He grew up with a Ragdoll cat from kittenhood and tolerated that well, but generally he does not enjoy living with other cats. He would do best as the only pet (or possibly with one very calm companion, depending on temperament). Ideally, I’d love for him to go to someone who is home a lot and wants a devoted, affectionate companion.
He deserves a home where he can be someone’s baby.
This is not a decision taken lightly. I will only consider the very best home for him. Somewhere calm, loving, and patient, where he can have the attention he thrives on.
