Description

Carmarthenshire, South Wales Rehoming fee applies Approx 3-4 years old Neutered Vaccinated We adopted Dave around a year and a half ago, he had always been a very shy bunny. He is a Netherland dwarf, with the cutest little ears. We had the intention of bonding him with our current two rabbits but were unfortunately unsuccessful (mainly due to our current female not getting along with him). Shortly after this at a check up we discovered that Dave had EC, asymptomatic but still carrying so we decided it was best not to continue trying to bond. This meant we unfortunately had to keep them separate in our home, with Dave having the upstairs as his own space. I would suggest Dave be rehomed as an only bunny, or be bonded with a rabbit who also had EC. We have kept Dave this whole time because we truly love him and have not been able to part with him, but we feel he deserves so much more than the space and attention he has now. Dave is a very shy and reserved bunny, even in the time we have had him it has been hard to break him from this. He doesn’t enjoy fuss or attention, he will often move away when approached but secretly loves to be near someone, when working from home he will always be in the same room as us for company, and will occasionally and very begrudgingly accept a head scratch here and there. He gets very excited for breakfast and dinner and loves a zoomie between bedrooms, he is litter trained but prefers to toilet in a different area to where he eats his hay (a clean boy) 🤣 While I know many people would prefer a bunny who interacts more/ enjoys fuss, Dave truly deserves a loving home where he will be spoilt and someone is willing to take the time to bond with him. He is the prettiest boy and also loves a snuggly blanket.
