Description
Bobby’s life has been one of hardship and waiting. He spent years behind the bars of a shelter, overlooked time and again because of his plain black coat. In March 2025, at the age of 8, it finally seemed like his luck had changed – a local family adopted him. For the first time, Bobby had a home.
But the family’s property had free-ranging chickens with no fencing. Nobody had ever taught Bobby that chickens must be left alone, and instead of keeping the chickens safe, Bobby was blamed. The solution was not to guide or help him – but to move him to a small, fenced-off corner of the garden, where he was left alone in a bare wooden kennel. That is where he has been living for months now… lonely, confused, and heartbroken.
📅 Date of Birth: estimated August 2017 (8 years old)

Looks & charm
Bobby may not stand out at first glance with his black coat, but those who take a moment to see him will discover the sparkle in his eyes and the warmth in his smile. He is a slightly overweight boy at the moment, but with a bit of exercise and good nutrition he will soon bloom again.

🐾 Calm, friendly, and grateful for every bit of kindness
Ideal home
What Bobby needs most is a loving family who will cherish him for who he is. A warm, safe home where he will never again be left alone in a kennel, but instead can share daily life with his people. He deserves comfort, companionship, and love in the years ahead.
Adoption conditions

His future
Winter is coming, and the thought of Bobby facing it in a lonely kennel is heartbreaking. Please, don’t let him waste away behind wire, or – even worse – risk being sent back to the kill shelter, where there would be no second chance. Bobby deserves so much more: warmth, care, and a family to call his own.
