We’ve been thinking of letting Monty go for a while, as we just don’t give him the time he deserves. He’s a two year old African grey we’ve had from a baby, and is very tame, very talkative and very chirpy. We have concern that if we aren’t giving him enough time, this won’t stay.
Monty was hand reared as a chick, and came to us at 16 weeks. He wasn’t bred by a breeder, but by someone who had two parrots who laid. He has full paperwork with him.
He’s very tame, he does nibble but never hurts, he loves being picked up and cuddled, which I will demonstrate should you visit him. He’s very vocal, but never screeches. He sings, he dances, whistles, and talks. His favourite at the moment is shouting our dog Lucy, who has thankfully learned to ignore him! If he has one fault, he will not step up! That’s our fault, as he prefers to be picked up and cuddled. He will come out the cage and fly around. Sit on you, play with you, he loves shredding cardboard! He’s only does NOT swear.
He’s only for sale as we’re just not in the house often enough for him and I believe this isn’t the right home. He gets bored easy, and it’s not fair to him.
He comes with his cage, which is a decent size with a perch on the top. All his toys (what’s left of them) and his beloved bell! Please don’t take his bell away he loves ringing it!
I won’t negotiate on price, as we want the absolute best for him. I can forward more videos and pics if needed, and we’re open for people to come and meet him
