Description

I have 2 castrated male goats for sale. Approximately just under 2 years old (Spring 2022). £340 for the pair. These two goats are called Chewbacca and Merlin, and are believed to be Saanan cross breed. We originally bought them at about a week old from a goat milk farm, however they had not properly taken to mum so we stepped in and bottle fed them. Unsurprisingly, this made them so sociable, friendly and curious! They are absolutely lovely to handle, pet, cuddle, etc. They are usually collared and can walk on a lead rope, however they are usually happy enough to follow you about, and will always come to the gate of their pen to greet you! They currently live with other goats which they get on with very well, as well as being in the same smallholding as donkeys, ponies, sheep, dogs, etc, making them very good companion animals and they are never fazed by other animals. They regularly visit primary school and children’s parties for educational purposes making them well suited to being around children. They have never been known to bite or show any signs of aggression to anyone or anything. They have been trained to be fed by hand, so will take food from an open palm, no problem at all. They are absolutely lovely goats and we are really going to miss them! Unfortunately we no longer have the space for them, so we are having to rehome them. They are loving, curious, smart and friendly goats who love nothing better than some human cuddles and attention and to play with buckets and toys and to climb things!
