This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, but I need to find the right home for my beautiful girl, Phoebe. She is the sweetest, most loving dog in the world, and this decision breaks my heart. But due to my health issues, after years of living in an abusive relationship, I can’t give her what she truly needs—and she deserves the best.
Phoebe is a high-energy dog who thrives on activity and learning. She’s incredibly smart, eager to please, and deeply attached to her person. She loves to be involved in everything you do, always by your side. She’s likely a mix of Kelpie and Border Collie, so she has the instincts and drive to work. Because of that, I’d love for her to find a home on a farm where she can have a job to do—but she must be an inside dog too. She needs to be part of the family.
Her past hasn’t been easy. She was thrown out of a moving car, suffering severe leg injuries. She healed, but the scar remains—a reminder of how strong and resilient she is. Despite everything, she is full of love and trust.
She’s been my protector in dark times — even when she was scared herself. She’s watched over me when I needed it most. Letting her go is not just painful, it feels like losing a part of myself. But I want to see her thrive — not just survive.
