Please meet Dahlia!
Dahlia arrived at our rescue in May 2024. She hadn’t had the best start in life after being involved in a hoarding situation prior to ending up in a kill shelter. We were so pleased to get her out to safety and she has been thriving in our care ever since!
Weighing around 25kg, Dahlia is not expected to grow any bigger. She’s still a young dog, only estimated to be 3 years old. Poor Dahlia is thought to be the mum of some of the other dogs that were rescued at the same time, especially as the first “owner” didn’t neuter any of the dogs!
Dahlia is an amazing friendly dog who will be first over to greet anyone who arrives at her pen. Enjoying both attention and playing, she will soon be your new best friend! She hasn’t had a lot of lead experience but when taken out by one of our volunteers, she picked it up really quickly and enjoyed going exploring. Although Dahlia enjoys playing with other dogs, she doesn’t need to live with one in the home.
