Arlo is a beautiful 6 year old boy who adores his pack. He is a protective dog with behavior issues due to some unpleasant experiences he has witness in his early life unfortunately. Due to being harassed shortly after neutered and witnessing an assault on owners he is very weary of strangers and other dogs approaching. This has known to be different when in kennels and on dog walking groups away from his home and family. He loves his pack and wants to keep them safe. Arlo has a big and bold personality who likes to be heard and played wuth regular. When he has gained your trust and friendship he loves his strokes and scratches but likes his own space as well. Arlo is a new Zealand sheep dog so he loves his long walks, running and sniffing for hours. We are having to look at rehoming due to my physical health and his unpredictability now we have a new baby regardless of the efforts we made with behaviourists and training classes before a baby arrived Arlo needs someone who can give him all the time he deserves to work on his behaviours and the long adventures we can no longer provide for him. In time with the effort and attention he will become a great companion for the right people.
