Description

I am looking to re home my Bella as I know it’s no excuse but unfortunately my circumstances have recently changed dramatically and she needs to attention she craves that I’m struggling to give her. She’s 6 and I’ve had her since 8 weeks old. She came from a very poor situation and was riddled with extremely large intestinal worms at such a young age. I treated that and at 12 weeks old she contracted a virus which very nearly killed her she was in the hospital for a week touch and go. Due to her poor start she is a very stressed dog always has been so quirky I’ve always said. Nothing nasty though but she whittles, pants a lot, always wants to just be with you etc. I do find due to the stress I’ve always struggled with her weight to keep any on her and her coat struggles too I get possibly a couple of good weeks and it’ll all come off again. She has no recall at all (did up until she hit about 8 months old) now will just totally ignore you. She won’t come back for treats, toys, you nothing so I only let her off rarely if I 100% know nothing is around and is secure. She also gets very sore stiff legs if she runs too much anyway due to her poor start in life so I don’t really allow it and just do long walks instead. She’s hit and miss with other dogs. Never bitten or anything she’ll basically grumble if they’ve done it first to her. So I never really know, but on the other hand has socialised lovely with other dogs absolutely fine. She’s not brilliant at travelling again hasn’t been from the day I got her. She gets car sick if it’s too far but will happily go in a car and does love visiting new places. She has grown up with my cat hasn’t chased any out on walks etc but not sure how she’d be within a home environment. Grown up with my kids and never issues. I feel she needs possibly someone who is at home with her where she is literally their everything and she can be their pampered princess. I have been as honest as possible as I feel she needs the attention that I unfortunately can’t give her.
