Nika is a one-year-old, 12 kg female dog, a gentle soul whose life almost ended before it truly began. She was abandoned in a remote village in Belarus, locked away in a small, cold space, left to starve and suffer alone.
Days turned into agonizing hours. Hunger gnawed at her tiny body, thirst parched her mouth, and the cold bit into her bones. She cried silently, pressing against the walls of her cage, her soft eyes pleading for someone to notice her pain, for a chance to live.
Volunteers arrived just one day short of her death. They found her weak, trembling, and barely holding on — a fragile little life hanging by the thinnest thread. With gentle hands, warmth, and food, they rescued Nika from the darkness that had claimed so many others.
Today, Nika is safe, healthy, and blossoming into the loving, affectionate dog she was always meant to be. She is neutered, loves children, is gentle with other dogs, and good with cats. Her playful, trusting nature makes her a perfect companion for any family who will promise never to abandon her again.
Nika was abandoned to die, but she fought for every breath. Now she deserves a home filled with love, warmth, and safety — the life she should have had from the start.
