📢 Introducing Olive, our extremely loving caring cavalier king Charles spaniel. Who is still a young dog at 3 years 6 months... ℹ️ We are only rehoming her due to the facts of following breeding licence, guidance, rules and regulations... Olive has been spayed and retired due to a health condition called Medial Patella Luxation (which vets (milcrofts Maryport) says is mild) she wasn't born with this condition (that we noticed) at around 15 months, she slipped on wet slippery floor, but vet think she probably was born with this, but as it's so mild it wasn't picked up on the three examinations (at different times that they did) she had leading up to this age... 🏊‍♀️ Since June she's been having hydrotherapy twice a week (in Wigton) and only recently gone down to once a week due to cold weather. She absolutely loves it, as you can see in the videos shown in this advert... 👀 We would like to find somebody, hopefully that could continue doing hydrotherapy, as we do feel that this benefits the condition that she has. (But I understand this isn't always doable due to area) ℹ️ There are days where there doesn't look like there is a thing wrong with her whatsoever, she walks normal, plays normal, but there are days where she's more sluggish. 👀 I need to find a older family or a retired couple/single person, that are willing to understand this, let her exercise at her own pace. 👎Not somebody that's super active. That wants an active dog to be exercised on the daily. This is not Olive. She needs to be able to exercise at her own pace... Whoever decides to take her on will be vetted, asking you some set questions. As I'm sure you understand. I want the care and consideration to continue. 📞 I also want the new owners to stay in touch with me to continue telling me about her progress. She honestly is such a loving dog and truly only rehoming her due to rules and regulations as defra (breeding licence inspector) would see that having other dogs jumping around her would impact her recovery... ℹ️ She is happy sleeping in a pen, on bedding in the living room or even on the sofa (We just don't allow her to jump on or jump off the sofa due to not wanting her to hurt herself)... ℹ️ Completely house trained. 🚶‍♂️ She is great when walking her on the lead going at her own pace, but she isn't a dog that whines to go for walks. She's more than happy to be wherever you are & if that's chilling on the sofa or just puttering around the house then she's happy... Please know this is a very difficult process, so no time wasters...
