This lovely boy is around 14 months old and has already overcome so much. He spent the first part of his life in a Romanian kill shelter and was just days from euthanasia when I agreed to foster him. Since April, he’s been in the UK and made incredible progress and he’s now ready for a forever home.
He has adjusted well to home life, he sleeps through the night in his dog bed and is mostly house trained. He walks well on the lead and absolutely loves his daily walks. He’s also living happily with my own dogs and would really benefit from a calm, well-adjusted dog companion in his new home, although not necessary it could help him settle and learn from. He will need a secure garden. He has been neutered.
Because of his past having only ever lived in a shelter, he is still nervous at times. (He is getting so much better with this day by day as he realises life is not so bad now). However, he’s an incredibly gentle nature, is inherently calm and is eager to trust. A bond will need to be built with him and he will need a patient, experienced adopter, or family who is committed to continuing his rehabilitation and helping him gain confidence through kindness, guidance and consistency.

• Good with other dogs and cats
• Sleeps well through the night
• Salivates/lip smacks a bit on car journeys due to anxiety, but copes well on short trips. Will He needs some work to overcome this. (I managed to do this with my own dog. who was significatly worse)
• Needs a secure garden to play, exercise and relax in
• Neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated and up to date with flea/worm treatment
An adoption fee and signed agreement are required. Full rescue backup is available for support after adoption.
