These beautiful stick insects are a must for any collection. They a fabulous neon green with bright pink wings and colourful markings on their legs and feelers. Both the male and female can fly. The males are about 6.5cm in length, females are larger at about 9cm, both have long feelers.
They mainly eat privet but can also eat olive, lilac and jasmine.
Temperature for enclosure needs to be at least 20c, humidity 70 - 80% - this is best obtained by having a soil type substrate.
Females deposit their eggs in bark in the wild so you will need to provide them with this. The enclosure for mine has a polystyrene backing, you can use florists foam or cork.
