Cavapoos differ by generation, such as F1, F1b, F1bb, and F2. F1 Cavapoos are a 50/50 mix of Cavalier and Poodle, with coat types ranging from wavy to curly and low shedding, though hypoallergenicity can vary. F1b Cavapoos — bred from an F1 Cavapoo and a Poodle — have around 75% Poodle genetics, resulting in curlier, more hypoallergenic coats and slightly higher energy levels. F1bb Cavapoos, created by breeding an F1b Cavapoo with a purebred Poodle, are around 87.5% Poodle and typically the most hypoallergenic, with tight curls and minimal shedding.
