Meet Bosie, a truly gentle soul with the softest heart.
Bosie was found injured by the side of the road, lying quietly hidden in a bush. He had been hurt and one of his eyes was severely injured. Thanks to the kindness and quick action of his rescuer, Bosie was noticed in time and brought to safety.
He was taken straight to the veterinary hospital, where he received all the care he needed. Sadly, his injured eye could not be saved, but Bosie made a full recovery otherwise. His lost eye still shows some visible signs of healing, but once everything has healed properly and the fur has grown back, you will hardly notice it anymore. Today, he is healthy, stable and comfortable — and his missing eye does not affect his happiness or quality of life in any way.
🗓 Date of birth:
As Bosie was found as an adult dog, his exact age could only be estimated by the veterinarian, who assessed him to be around three years old. For administrative purposes, an official date of birth was assigned in his passport: 24 December 2022 ****************** — a meaningful date chosen to mark the moment Bosie was given a second chance at life, ****************** was for him new beginning, new chance.
📏 Size:
Bosie is a small to medium-sized boy, measuring approximately 38–40 cm at the shoulder.
🐾 Looks & possible mix:
Based on his appearance, Bosie is believed to be a Maltese/Bichon-type cross with Tibetan Terrier traits. He has a beautifully soft, slightly curly coat, a compact, cuddly build and an expression that radiates kindness. His one remaining eye is incredibly expressive and seems to look straight into your heart.
✨ Personality:
Bosie is exceptionally gentle, calm and grateful. He doesn’t ask for much — he simply enjoys being near people, feeling safe and included.
He is affectionate without being demanding, quiet without being withdrawn, and carries a peaceful presence that instantly softens a room. Bosie gets along well with other dogs and responds beautifully to kind, patient guidance.
He is currently waiting in a private fosterplace, where he is safe and well cared for while hoping for his forever home.
Bosie is not a dog who needs to impress.
He is a dog who needs to be loved.

Friends InDeed is a registered charity. All adoptions are subject to a home check (online where necessary). We place our dogs only with genuine dog lovers, with a private garden and no children under the age of 10. Our dogs are family companions — not working, therapy or assistance dogs.
We remain available for support after adoption. We are a transparent rescue, actively involved in spay/neuter programmes, and have successfully placed over 500 dogs with families across the UK, all of whom can provide references.
Adoption fees may vary depending on circumstances.
