URGENT rehome!
This is Roman, our beautiful 14-week-old Boerboel Mastiff mix who is looking for a loving and committed new home.
Roman is a confident, affectionate and intelligent puppy with a calm, gentle nature. He has been around small children and is very calm and relaxed with them, showing a lovely steady temperament for such a young age. He enjoys human company, loves cuddles, and is already showing the loyal, people-focused traits typical of mastiff-type breeds.
Roman is happy living alongside cats and is okay with other dogs in the household, though as expected with a young, large-breed puppy, consistent training and structure will be needed to help him continue developing good manners and confidence.
He has a great routine already in place. Roman is happy to sleep in a crate all night, especially when it is in the same room as you, and settles well. He currently pees only on training pads and is slowly getting the hang of going outside in the garden, making good progress with toilet training for his age.
As a Boerboel Mastiff mix, Roman is expected to grow into a large, powerful adult, so he will need a home that understands large breeds and is committed to ongoing training, socialisation, and routine. With positive reinforcement and time, he has all the potential to grow into an incredibly loyal and loving companion.
This decision has been extremely difficult and has not been made lightly. Due to a change in time commitments, we are no longer able to give Roman the level of time and attention he deserves. Our priority is finding him a home where his needs can be fully met.
We are looking for a responsible, patient, and preferably experienced home, ideally with knowledge of large or guardian-type breeds. A secure garden, time for training, and long-term commitment are essential.
