FOSTER REQUIRED. This shy 10yr old girl Lunja has had the hardest of lives. She was shot in the leg and tortured on the streets and was rescued in Bosnia by a family who planned to take her to America. After a couple of years she was still waiting so we took on her care and waited for them to be ready. She mixed well with the dogs in her area in Bosnia but was always a little sad. Then along came a wonderful opportunity for her to live out her years in comfort and feeling love in forever foster with other older dogs. Lunja is a lover of people and loves nothing better than a tummy tickle and being gently chatted to. Possibly due to her shy personality and the stress of all the changes she has become unpredictable with some of the other more vulnerable dogs in the home so we are keen to settle her elsewhere. We are looking for a foster, preferably with no other dogs or small furries for Lunja to have a quiet loving home in her final years. Lunja walks well for short walks on a harness and lead. Could you be Lunja’s person? She just needs a quiet home with her own comfy bed and lots of cuddles.
