Meet lovely little Layla, a petite 3-year-old French Bulldog girl with a huge heart and a cheeky smile. Due to very difficult personal circumstances, her family can no longer care for her, and she now urgently needs a safe place to land—not far from Burton-on-Trent.

💔 Rescue Story:
Layla lived in her family since 8 week old puppyhood, but after her owner became homeless and had no one to help care for her while returning to work, she had to make the decision to surrender Layla. With nowhere else to turn and no time left, she reached out for help.
Layla is full of love to give, just needing a steady routine and a lap to curl up on. She deserves nothing less than a family who can give her the time, love, and structure she thrives in.
🐾 More About Layla:
Layla is a cuddly girl who just wants to be near her people. She’ll happily spend all day on your lap if you let her. She’s clean in the house (though needs a consistent routine), used to sleeping in the kitchen or snuggled in bed, and enjoys long walks—especially countryside adventures!
While she gets on with other dogs in general, food guarding can be an issue. She lives with cats peacefully and adores people.
🎾 Her favourite things? Rubber snakes, deer antlers, hikes, and belly rubs!
🏡 Ideal Family:
Layla is best suited to a calm and loving home with older children or adults, where someone is around most of the time. She needs a garden, regular walks, and most of all—a human to bond with. She’ll make a wonderful solo dog, showering her people with love and laughter every single day.
