Remus is about 1 year old and is medium in height. He'd benefit from living with people who have rescue dog experience and would need to live with at least one other well balanced dog. He could live with children aged 10+ years old.
This sweet boy is gentle, and a little shy of strangers. However, he has really improved in confidence since we first rescued him. He has recently spent a week in a home with other doggies. Remus REALLY settled into the home environment, and loved all the creature comforts that a home could offer.
Remus is one of 3 puppies rescued from a house in Worcestershire where their owner failed to give them an appropriate start in life. We took two of the puppies into our care (including Remus’ brother, Albus, who is now adopted), while High Hopes Rescue took the other.
This wonderful boy is doing so well and becoming more confident, despite his limited life experience. He'd do better to continue his learning and development in a home environment. Another well balanced dog would really help him to learn and grow into a wonderful doggy companion.
We know that Remus is a very special boy, and that he will only get better with the right support. However, we would dearly love to get him out of a kennel environment and into a home.
