We got Zeus a little over 2 weeks ago, he’s absolutely lovely but we weren’t aware that one of the children had been allergic since breaking out in hives a few days after he’s been here. We were also told that he was okay with cats which he is not, hence why we are having to let him go.
Zeus likes cuddles and treats, he’s okay with other dogs as he’s met a friend’s german shepherd and was perfectly okay. However when he sees a dog he stares at them and tries to pull toward them after they pass. We were told that he isn’t allergic to anything and that he’s perfectly healthy, again i’m not too sure about how true that may be.
We do want him to go to a good home as he really is wonderful but unfortunately because of my child’s allergy that we weren’t aware of (never reacted to other dogs he’s been around) we just can’t keep him. He is strong on the lead so i would recommend an older teenager or stronger adult walks him.
He’ll come with his bed, food leftover, bowls, brush, some poo bags, collar and lead, two teddies and some treats that we have leftover.
