We have Females Japanese Cortunix Quails available, they hatched on Friday May 16 & Friday May 23rd so they are now 4 & 5wks old.
We had over 100 chicks hatch & we now only have 16 females left looking for their forever homes.
We don’t have any males left as most of the hatch turned out to be females & the males we did have have now gone to new homes with other females.
They are now living outdoors in a big double hutch & they are loving being outdoors in the fresh air & sun.
They are still eating chick crumb which they will need to eat till 8wks old.
We do sell chick crumb is you need some, 1.5kg bag £3 or 2 bags of 1.5kg for £5.
The do seem to be eating quite a lot at the moment, maybe down to the heat & growth spurt.
Quails are flock birds so they need to live in groups of 4 or more.
A deposit is required to reserve your Females if holding for more than 24hrs hrs this is due to lots of no shows in the past after waiting in for ppl to come.
Collection is just 10-15mins from near longleat area of Wiltshire or we can bring them to you for a fee, fee £5-£15 depending on distance but only up-to 45mins away from BA12 area of Wiltshire.
