Born in 2022, Bella has had a heartbreaking start to life. She has spent over two years in a shelter — waking each day in a kennel and going to sleep without a family of her own. Born unwanted, homeless, and overlooked, Bella’s early life has deeply shaped her.
After growing up on the streets, where strangers often meant danger, fear, or pain, Bella is understandably cautious. But once trust is earned, she blossoms. With time, love, and patience, this gentle soul will give her heart to the right person.
Bella also lives with a congenital deformity which gives her an unusual gait. She’s been vet checked and X-rayed, and requires no treatment, just understanding. She doesn’t need long walks or strenuous exercise — she’s happiest in her safe space with people she trusts.
She would thrive in a calm, loving home, ideally with a confident resident dog to show her the way. However, she could also be the only dog in a home where someone is around most of the time.
Bella’s ideal home:
Quiet, calm environment
Older children only (teenagers+)
Another dog is a bonus but not essential
Someone patient and committed to building her confidence
Understanding of her physical and emotional needs
Bella has so much love to give — she just needs someone to show her she’s finally safe and wanted.
