AVAILABLE-‘Sheriff’ the Roger Moore of
the canine world- 4-5yr old spaniel type-
loves his cuddles & walks
Sheriff beautiful to look at & equally so in
his soul. Handsome Sheriff lad has during
his 4-5yrs on earth been irrelevant & thus
without a home & unknown. Imagine not
being known for all that you are & can be.
It’s one of the most wonderful things to
experience. He doesn’t know what that’s
like. He went without the warmth & safety
of the love he so readily gives despite his
loneliness year after year. The resolve &
spirit Sheriff demonstrates like so many of
the needy souls I’m trying to home is so
desperately poignant. It doesn’t take much
for them to bounce back & put so much
store in us humans. The tragedy and
horror when a rescue like Sheriff isn’t
actually protected just because he’s in a
shelter- is that the hope and faith they
cling to comes to nothing in the end- it’s
betrayed when they are once more
abandoned &/or given to a bad person who
will hurt them. Sheriff is vulnerable. Ask
more about this for clarity &understanding. Ultimately he’s looking for
a home - to have what he always should
have known- to be cherished. Can you be
his special person/s?

X-Ray on heart-as his tummy was a little
bigger than normal-negative for heart
worm - great news- The x-ray showed
some heart failure though managed and
maintained with medication which he’s
already taking since the appointment-

He’s doing well
We will send him with a supply so you
don’t have to worry about initial vet
appointments while you enjoy your
adoption. Any pet we own may at some
point need Vetinary intervention & care
whether expected or unexpected. Knowing
the prognosis & having the investigation
already complete is reassuring &
conclusive. Sheriff isn’t defined by this &
no more a write off than a human being
undergoing any medical procedure. Would
you hope that the world didn’t turn its back
on you because you were taking
medication? Would you be shocked if they
did?
Sheriff is blissfully unaware of hiscondition though he’s painfully alert that
life is sad without an owner.
Perhaps you also need to be needed & can
form a great bond with a boy who will be a
joyful companion in the slower lane in life?
He’s survived the disease of man - that
nature also can be cruel is part of it but as
he endured the former- the latter he’ll take
in his stride.
Give the charming Mr. Sheriff Moore with
the glint in his eye a chance.
