Description

Lulu is a beautiful girl who is searching for her forever home, where she can enjoy life to the fullest and spread joy as the happy little lady she is. English Bulldogs are a well-loved breed for good reason, and Lulu is no exception. She is a fantastic dog who will make a wonderful addition to the right family. Lulu’s journey has been a long one. We were contacted by another agency about a Bulldog who had been in foster care for over a year. They were struggling to find her a permanent home and her foster carer could no longer keep her, so they reached out to us for help. After meeting Lulu, we were more than happy to welcome her into our care. From the moment she arrived in foster, Lulu made herself right at home. She spotted the sofa and immediately claimed her cosy corner. She shares her foster home with four other Bulldogs and has slotted in beautifully. She loves playing in the garden with her big brother, Claude, who has been a wonderful helper with other foster dogs. Like many Bulldogs, Lulu makes plenty of noise during playtime, grumbling and rumbling until someone joins in. When Claude cheekily climbed into her bed, Lulu put on quite the performance, throwing a playful tantrum until he shuffled over. She would thrive in a home with another playful dog but would be just as happy soaking up all the attention as the only pet. Lulu walks nicely to heel and enjoys her time outdoors. When she first arrived, we noticed a slight limp, so she was taken to the vet and underwent surgery. She has healed beautifully and we don’t expect her to have any further problems. As with all dogs, we recommend a joint supplement as she grows older, just to give her the best support. Lulu is an affectionate loving dog, so we believe she would be fine with children over eight years old. She is a sturdy girl, and younger children may accidentally get knocked aside during play. She hasn’t yet met any cats, but we would be happy to arrange a cat test if needed. Lulu is full of character a bright, cheeky girl with a playful stubbornness that is both hilarious and endearing. She would truly make a home complete, and we can’t wait to see her finally meet her forever family. She is available to be met prior to adoption in Nottinghamshire for a suitable application.
