Description
I adopted Millie 2 weeks ago as a companion for my daughter, she is such a sweet loving beautiful girl that despite being very apprehensive of strangers she has warmed to me very quickly and has settled wonderfully.
Shes great with children as her previous owner had them, she's been around my friends with cats and other dogs she is great.
Millie is great in the house and hasn't had any accidents other than the initial separation period which lasted 3 days.
I have had her on the beach daily since she came to me and she loves it.
She has settled at night and slept on the bed with me no problem.
She loves cuddles and belly rubs, and kisses.
She's only been left for a 2 hours maximum and has been dry with no problems on returning to her.
I work from home and would prefer her to go to someone who has the same amount of time to give her.
I'm so torn because I know she is special and is a brilliant dog.
I don't want to rehome her but I am about to have a lot of stress and upheaval unexpectedly going on in my personal life and I dont want her to be fully settled and attached to then break her heart and our hearts.
I will want to fully vet whoever millie goes to and make sure it's the right home and she deserves a forever home.
Please don't get in touch unless you are absolutely certain you can provide that for her.
Her recall is brilliant off lead too, she returns without issues.
She will bark at strangers that come close even on the beach.
I've taken her to meet friends and family with dogs and she's settled really quickly in their homes as long as she can sit close to you for reassurance.
She came to me with only a harness and some kibble.
She will leave with her dog bed, kibble, treats, toys, lead, and anything else I have for her.
I have her paperwork from her original owner with her details and microchip number on too.
