Due to no fault of their own we are looking for new homes for our dogs. This is an extremely sad decision but no longer faced with options.
All dogs are microchipped, up to date with fleeing and worming, but out of date with vaccinations.
Zoey (black and white dog on the photos)- DOB: 16/05/2020
Zoey is a very good dog. Toilet trained. Good with recall. Good on the lead. Crate trained. Very good with other dogs. Neither dominant nor submissive. Zoey lives with cats, but I wouldn’t recommend for her to continue life with cats as she is very obsessed with them. She does not chase, or bite them, but she will sit and stare at them without blinking for hours on end, which does cause her distress at times. We have had Zoey from a puppy, and this behaviour has only begun in the last year, we are not really sure why as she used to live with the cats in harmony previously.
Autumn (red/brown and white husky pedigree but no papers) - DOB: 28/12/2023
Autumn is a home bred girl. Autumn is Ocean’s daughter. She was the only red girl in the litter, and as it was such a slim chance of having a puppy like her we felt like she had to remain with us, but we quickly released this was not the best choice. Autumn is a perfect dog in every way. Very people orientated. Requires attention more than other dogs so would be best suited for someone that will give her their all. She loves going out on walks and adventures. Very social. Amazing with children, if I’m honest she loves children more than adults. She will always play, and cuddle with my 4 year old boy. Extremely gentle girl. Very high energy so will need walked twice a day daily at a minimum. Very high pray drive so long line lead will be needed at all times, her recall is generally good but if she sees something she will run after it.
Ocean (black and white pedigree but no paper) - DOB: 21/08/2022
Ocean is our perfect girl, and as much as I shouldn’t have favourites within the fur children I do feel like ocean is our favourite as she is such a calm, soft natures, loving girl. She is amazing with children. Good with cats but needs testing in caution due to her high pray drive. Good with other dogs. Crate trained but would most likely be fine without a crate. Ocean does have a very large problem with her pray drive, specially birds and poultry. Ocean will zone out when she’s off the lead, and chase any bird flying over her head and as such needs to be kept on a long line at all times. Ocean has jumped the fence before, and killed a local farm chicken so it’s vital for a secure garden. Ocean’s recall is good besides for her pray drive as that makes her go in a zone.
Please do not enquire unless you have experience or strongly researched the breed. None of our dogs are going to just anyone on a first served basis, only the best homes will do. We are in need of them being housed quickly, but also not in a major rush, as I say unless you’re the best home I will not entertain your rehoming offer.
We used to live in a small two bed house before moving into a farm, size of the house isn’t a large issue to us as long as you have a secure garden and will commit to giving the dogs the time/training/stimulation/attention/care/love and exercise they need that is the main thing for us.
