Description

Snoop needs a new, loving home where he has lots of space to run and someone with loads of time to spend with him. Snoop has endless energy and can walk and run for miles - this is not the reason for rehoming. This is what I will miss the most about snoop. The reason for rehoming is Snoop is unable to be left alone in my house as he becomes so distressed he will throw himself at walls and the door crying and won’t settle until I return. I have to go out for work but even if this is only for a couple of hours this is too long for Snoop. He is also dog reactive on lead and very strong so he needs to be reminded to ‘heel’ - he has lived happily with my 11 year old staffy for the past year. Snoop is crate trained as long as he knows someone is at home. Snoop will become extremely distressed left home alone in his crate. He is the most loving, affectionate, happy best boy in the world and I’m devastated I’ve had to make this decision. He is very intelligent and knows lots of commands but his favourite thing to do is play on his agility course which can go with him when he finds his forever home. I have put every hour I have and all of my energy into training snoop for the past year but sadly it’s still not enough for him and it is unfair to keep him any longer with the distress it causes him for me to even go to the shop. Snoop will not be going to just any home - I will need to ensure his future home has space and that his new parent/parents have plenty of time to keep him company and keep him engaged with things to do as Snoop won’t cope without this. Snoop has never lived with any children and is 32 kg and very lively so whilst not unfriendly I wouldn’t recommend rehoming with young children due to his lack of spacial awareness. Snoop would also be happiest as an only dog whereby his new owner can focus on solely him and training him and giving him jobs to do.
