Description
Hugo is such a lovely boy, very friendly & loves a good cuddle! This is a very sad sale unfortunately I cannot be home with him as much as he needs. We have tried all alternatives before having to unfortunately face this being our only option for his best interest.
He becomes very unsettled when left alone and needs to be rehomed where someone is with him around the clock, e.g a work from home or unemployed environment where he isn’t left in distress.
Hugo loves a long walk / run and then a nice big snuggly nap.
He is currently on naturo food trays, sold in almost all supermarkets so easy to get hands on. He can be quite a fussy boy with food, so a good amount of his fav will be sent with him so he’s all set :)
He’s up to date with vaccinations, had a vet check a few weeks ago & is in brilliant health.
He sleeps in his bed in my bedroom and is good as gold at going to bed when told.
He is microchipped so those details will need to be changed over.
He is very vocal and barks at people and other animals, HOWEVER he is very friendly & snuggly he just can’t control his noisy nature, he’s been around my children from 9weeks old & has always been okay with other dogs, he will bark but loves to play! We’ve had my mums dog here to stay & he loved the company.
This is a very sad devastating situation, but for Hugo’s happiness he needs to be somewhere he won’t be alone.

Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own
Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints
They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise
