Description

Bonnie, our beautiful, calm, affectionate shaded chocolate bitch has had a stunning litter of seven pups. Colours range from chocolate to two dappled girls. Bonnie is a Standard Smooth haired dachshund and Benji the sire, is a chocolate and cream dappled Miniature dachshund. The puppies will be tweenies and range in size. Raised in my home with another dog and cat plus children, puppies will be ready to go to their forever home at 11 weeks by 4th January 2027. They will leave me with their first vaccination wormed and microchipped.

Pros

Extremely affectionate and loyal little dogs
Very intelligent Dachshunds learn quickly and know how to please
Fun-loving and playful by nature
Energetic and feisty Dachshunds like to be kept entertained

Cons

Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own
Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints
They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise
The breed is known to suffer from quite a few health concerns so vet bills can be high and why pet insurance is so important for anyone owning a Dachshund
