Description

Female Cane Corso, shes on the smaller side. Shes looking for her forever home as her owners have had a change of circumstances and the foster homes daughter is allergic to dogs. Crate trained, house trained, good with dogs but chases cats. Good with children but a bit to energetic for small children. She needs a crate, which can be supplied or you can get her one but she can not go without a xl crate as its her safe space and were she sleeps. Has all her harnesses, walks well but jumps up at strangers due to excitement. But this is being worked on as shes got a head harness and a body harness. With only gentle redirection she walks perfectly. She needs her chew toys aswell as cane corsos will chew things if they are left unattended and dont get proper stimulation. Please do not ask for her if you do not know the breed. This dog is for experienced owners as its not fare to have her passed from home to home. She is not a bad dog and doesnt have any aggression. She is a large dog though and needs exercise, not loads though, one walk a day does tire her out and it doesnt need to be a huge walk. Shes a bit of a lazy girl and enjoys cuddling up on the sofa before she goes to her crate for bedtimes. Its very important that her routine for training isnt changed, shes doing great and going without the crate and being hyped up will undo the work shes been doing so well at. House visit first, or proof that the dog will have constant access to a safe and secure garden, plus a crate, no cats and experience with cane corsos or similar big breed dogs. This breed has a very low pain threshold and a very hard bite. Gentle training with positive reinforcement is a necessity, dominating/ alpha/ fear training will cause her to become a danger. Only owners with experience will be considered.
