Hiya, my name is Mishka. I’m 11 years old, and I’ve spent my whole life being a cherished part of a family. I’m a gentle, loving lady who absolutely adores human companionship. I’m an indoor cat, and my favourite things in the world are curling up beside you, sitting on your lap for cuddles, and getting soft chin scratches. I’m calm, affectionate and sometimes I even play quietly with my toys. I’m very easy to please and always grateful for love and attention.
I’ve grown up with children of all ages and I am very gentle with toddlers, young kids, and adults too. I don’t ask for much; just a peaceful corner when I need a little quiet time, and then I’ll come back for more cuddles and companionship.
Unfortunately, my human has developed very severe asthma and allergies to animals. They tried everything to keep me: dehumidifiers, keeping me out of certain rooms, medication, but it has become dangerous and led to multiple hospital stays.
Out of love and responsibility, the heartbreaking decision has been made to find me a new home where I can be safe, comfortable, and truly included as part of the family again.
