I’m extremely sad to have to rehome My two year old greenwing macaw echo. He is looking for a new home due to no fault of his own.unfortunately my hours at work will be changing which will only allow for an hour two outside the cage for him each day which I feel isn’t enough and would be unfair on him to expect him to stay in a cage for that length of time.
He is very chatty and says a few words and noises and plays peekaboo but also note this is a macaw so at times he can be extremely LOUD(much louder than a dog bark) so don’t enquire if you can’t handle the noise of a macaw
he is two years old roughly and has been dna sexed male.
He is also microchipped which will be transferred to the new owner. He has never bitten me but will take time to come around to a new owner so expect some warning nips if you push him out of his comfort zone. he seems to prefer males the most and will gladly come up for cuddles roll on his back etc for me but he allows my partner to hold him and feed him treats just not touch him.
He comes with a travel cage(dog cage)

I have his cage 8x4x6 which I can include in the sale for an extra £500 this has a divider and two doors so can be split into 2 4x4 cages

Also his tree perch that he sits on most of the time when out which was £300 last year but I would take £100 for it as it’s still looking brand new.

I will not be just handing him over to just anyone I will require pictures of your cage and you must understand these guys are extremely loud and hard to look after but extremely rewarding if you persist but I would not recommend a macaw to a complete beginner.
