I have owned Sunny for the past 8.5 years and have loved every moment of it. The only reason he is up for sale is due to me moving and him not being able to come unfortunately. He is not a novice ride and needs a confident rider as he can be forward and sometimes challenging but never dangerous. I think he would suit a confident teenager that wants to get out and try a bit of everything or an adult looking for a happy hacker with the option of to do more if wanted.
He has mainly been used for hacking and will do so alone or in company with no issues, he is also good in traffic. He has done plenty of fun rides where he will happily lead a group or follow if needed and will always try his best. He has also done some show jumping but mainly for fun. Due to a personal injury and not being able to ride, he is currently being ridden by a confident 13 year old who has even taken him to fun rides where he was looked after her impeccably and is very aware of what is expected from him.
He is currently shod and is up to date with the dentist and has regular visits from an equine masseuse.
He is good for the dentist and farrier, can be fussy to load at times but with some patience will load and once loaded, he travels absolutely fine. He will come with a full wardrobe including saddle, bridle, several rugs etc.
This is the most heartbreaking thing to have to part with him so he won’t be going just anywhere. I know what he is worth money wise but him going to the right home is far more important to me than money so I am happy to negotiate this with the right person and right home. Please no time wasters and genuine enquiries only, I’m really hoping he will find his forever home with someone.
